Deacon Art and his wife Carol have two adult children and two grandchildren.  He holds a MA degree in Counseling and is retired from a career in the Judicial Branch of Government in Connecticut. A convert to the Catholic faith in 1974 he was ordained by Cardinal Dolan on 6/21/2014. Deacon Art is active in numerous parish ministries and says that "serving the people of God at St. James Church and Our Lady of the Lake Mt. Carmel with joy and a servants heart" is his goal.
